BREAKING NEWS
(updated 7/28/08) Atlantic District to Host 3 on 3 Mite Jamboree The Atlantic District is proud to announce the second year they will be hosting a 3 on 3 Mite Jamboree. This year, they also will be adding Squirts to the event. All DVHL Mite and Squirt teams are required to attend, free of charge, the weekend of September 27 & 28. Each player will receive a "goody" bag with things from their local NHL team as well as pizza and soda for lunch. Due to the number of players we are hoping to attend, we will be breaking the district into four different locations for you to choose where you would like to play. You can go to Ice Works (Aston, PA), Ice Vault (Wayne, NJ), Twin Ponds East (Harrisburg, PA) or to the Ice Box Skating Complex (Pittston, PA). All locations will follow the same format. Please make sure to get your teams in early as last year it was a sell out! >
Download Application Form Two New Member Clubs Join the League The DVHL would like to welcome both the Rizzo Rink (Philadelphia) and the Delaware Stars (Harrington, DE) to our league. We look forward to their participation in the league! Several of our required forms are in the process of being updated. The DVHL roster, player movement, A petitioning, B petitioning and roster addition forms are being updated and will be posted on the website as soon as they are available. Please do not use last years! The DVHL is proud to announce that we will be holding our second Midget 18 college showcase on September 27 & 28, 2008 at the Iceline Quad rinks in West Chester, PA. We invite all college coaches to come and watch our games and speak to our players about the possibility of attending your college! The schedule has been posted; however, teams will not be filled in until we get our final team projections at the August 13 meeting. We plan on having all of our Midget 18 AA and A teams participate. The league will assign the game slots to the teams playing and will distribute it to the clubs on August 14. Rutgers University will again be the location for the level 4 USA Hockey coaching clinic. The dates are September 5-7, 2008 and you can now register online at www.usahockey.com under the coaches section. This is a reminder that the DVHL tampering rules are different than the Atlantic District bylaws. Please read the league's bylaw below so that you are aware of what you can and cannot do. The time of year has arrived where not knowing the rules can be a problem! Section 7 -- Tampering
