2024-25 DVHL 18UA All-Star Selections Announced
The Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL) has officially released its 2024-25 18UAA All-Star selections, recognizing the season’s standout performers. These players have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and dedication to their teams, earning spots in the All-League, 1st Team, and 2nd Team honors.
All-League Selections
The All-League team features the most dominant players across all positions. Mack Weisgable, Gabe Fatula, and Cole Blackburn led the forward selections, all contributing high-point totals. Weisgable (Wilkes-Barre Jr. Pens) finished with an astounding 69 points, while Fatula (Wilkes-Barre Jr. Pens) tallied 52 points, and Blackburn (Chester County Cougars) recorded 50 points. On the defensive side, Ryan Rusnock (Wilkes-Barre Jr. Pens) and Clayton Davis (Susquehanna Stampede) secured their spots with strong performances. Tom O’Brien (Chester County Cougars) was named the All-League Goalie, finishing the season with an impressive 2.18 GAA and 10 wins.
1st Team Selections
The 1st Team All-Stars consist of key contributors who delivered strong performances throughout the season. Among the forwards, Brandon Gondek (Snider Hockey), Colin Kelly (Chester County Cougars), and Nolan Shingle (Genesis Hockey Club) stood out with consistent offensive production. On the blue line, Nathan Sekel (Delco Phantoms), and Matthew Abbonizio (Chester County Cougars) played vital defensive roles while contributing offensively. Brent Gehret (Wilkes-Barre Jr. Pens) earned the 1st Team Goalie selection, recording a 0.898 save percentage and 10 wins.
2nd Team Selections
The 2nd Team All-Stars highlighted players who significantly impacted their teams. Forwards Patrick Callahan (Delco Phantoms), Logan Keenan (Wilmington Nighthawks), and Nicholas Michener (Central Penn Panthers) were all recognized for their offensive contributions. Defensively, Dillon Haslett (Quakers) and Jamie Ditro (Snider Hockey) earned places on the 2nd Team for their solid defensive play. In goal, Jason Magaruh (Genesis Hockey Club) was named the 2nd Team Goalie, finishing the season with a 2.67 GAA, 0.881 save percentage, and 10 wins.
