🏆🏒 DVHL 18U AA Championship Recap 🏒🏆

Chester County Cougars captured the DVHL 18U AA Championship with a thrilling 4–3 victory over Snider Hockey in a hard-fought battle at IceWorks.

Snider struck first on the power play midway through the opening period as William Johnson finished off a feed from James Parshurst to give Snider a 1–0 lead. Chester County answered quickly, with Marek Tomaszewicz evening the score before Andrew Palahunik buried another to give the Cougars a 2–1 advantage after one.

Snider responded in the second period when Gavin Culver converted on the power play to tie the game at 2–2 heading into the final frame.

The championship was decided in an intense third period. Cole Rice gave the Cougars the lead early with a power-play goal, and Andrew Palahunik struck again moments later to make it 4–2. Genesis Hockey Club Green pulled away in the third period to capture the DVHL 16U AA Championship with a 5–2 victory over the Delco Phantoms at IceWorks.

Delco struck first just 17 seconds into the opening frame when Bobby Barth found the back of the net to give the Phantoms an early spark. After a scoreless remainder of the first, Delco extended its lead in the second as Miles Bouchard capitalized on the power play to make it 2–0.

Genesis answered midway through the second period, with Alexander Korolev converting on the man advantage to cut the deficit to 2–1 and shift the momentum heading into the final frame.

Genesis Hockey Club captured the DVHL 14U AA Championship with a disciplined 2–0 victory over the Central Penn Panthers at IceWorks.

After a tightly contested and scoreless first period, Genesis broke through late in the second when Luke Reese finished off feed from Thomas Ferragutti to give his club a 1–0 lead. The game remained physical and intense, with both teams battling for every inch of ice as the Panthers pushed to respond.

Central Penn generated plenty of chances — outshooting Genesis 30–15, including a strong third-period surge — but Genesis goaltender John Juliana stood tall, turning aside all 30 shots he faced to preserve the shutout.

With the Panthers pressing late and the net empty, Jackson Horton sealed the championship with an empty-net goal in the final seconds.

Delco Phantoms White saved their best for last, exploding for four third-period goals to capture the DVHL 10U A American Championship with a 4–2 victory over the Susquehanna Stampede at IceWorks.

After a scoreless opening period, Susquehanna struck first in the second when Colt Kopera found the back of the net to give the Stampede a 1–0 lead heading into the final frame.

But championship moments belong to teams that rise under pressure — and Delco did just that.

Lucas Billingsley ignited the comeback with the equalizer early in the frame, to start the swing of momentum, Dov Drajpuch a go ahead goalf, followed by another tally from Billingsley, and Parker McCabe sealed the title with a shorthanded goal late in the game. Susquehanna answered once in the third on a power-play goal from Luca Yeager, but the Phantoms' surge proved decisive.

Delco held a slight 30–28 edge in shots. Elias Gonzalez earned the championship win in net, while Brenden Kepler turned aside numerous quality chances to keep the Stampede within reach.

Campus Wild captured the DVHL 14U B Championship with a thrilling 4–3 victory over the Wilkes Barre Jr. Penguins at IceWorks.

Campus struck first in the opening period when Parker Keretzman converted on the power play to give the Wild a 1–0 lead after one.

The second period brought a surge from Wilkes Barre. Finn Doheny doubled the Campus lead early, but the Penguins answered in a big way. Micah Barkley started the rally, and Cole Niesi scored twice in a span of just over seven minutes to give Wilkes Barre a 3–2 advantage heading into the third.

But the championship would be decided in the final frame. Declan Killmeyer evened the score early in the third, setting the stage for late-game heroics. With just over four minutes remaining, Finn Doheny netted his second of the game—this time the game-winner—to put Campus back on top for good.

Campus Wild outshot Wilkes Barre 33–25 on the day. Matthew Sanders earned the win in net with a steady 48-minute performance, while Mason O'Connor made several key stops to keep the Penguins within striking distance.

Snider Hockey captured the DVHL 16U A National Championship in commanding fashion, skating past the Quakers, 8–2, at IceWorks.

Snider wasted little time setting the tone. Joseph Nevil Petrie opened the scoring on the power play, and after Bennett Sullivan answered for the Quakers, Snider responded with a pair of goals from Mark Pietrafesa and Daniel Molony to take a 3–1 lead after one.
