Week 7 – Players of the Week

10UA National Player of the Week

Hershey Junior Bears – Luca Placeres was involved in seven of the eight goals scored in Hershey’s 8:4 win! Luca had four goals and three assists and excelled on both sides of the ice.

12UB Player of the Week

Wilkes Barre Jr Pens – Max Marinello has been hustling on and off the ice, and putting in hard work and dedication to help his team. Max scored his first-ever travel hockey goal!

12UA American Player of the Week

Hershey Junior Bears – Jason Yonker was unstoppable with five goals and one assist, which led the team to an 8-4 victory over the West Point Black Nights.

12UAA Player of the Week

Wilkes Barre Jr Pens – Nathan Zubick faced 67 shots on Sunday from a strong Genesis team, making 53 saves.

14UB Player of the Week

Chester County Cougars on Sunday, the Cougars faced the Quakers shorthanded. With just three defensemen, Sonja Beaman was on the ice every other shift, shutting down the Quakers, making good outlet passes, carrying the puck into the offensive zone, and playing physically when needed. Sonja led by example and helped keep our team in the game in a challenging situation.

14UA American Player of the Week

Exton Kings – Hamdi Sidahmed was an offensive force, scoring both Exton goals in a hard-fought game vs Delmarva.

16UA American Player of the Week

Delmarva Raptors – Logan Behney scored a powerplay goal (his first goal of the season) in the Raptors’ 6-4 victory against the Kings.

16UAA Player of the Week

Campus Wild – Matt Martin scored five goals and added two assists for seven points, leading the Wild to a 2nd place finish in Boston! Matt registered a +8 rating and an outstanding ten hits.
