The DVHL is deeply saddened by the passing of Raymond B. Reinl, one of our founding members and a true builder of the game. Ray’s passion for hockey and dedication to growing youth hockey in our region helped shape the DVHL and impacted generations of players and families. His legacy will live on.

On Sunday, March 15th, Power Play Rinks hosted the DVHL’s second annual “Great 8 Shoot Out “which highlighted the extraordinary skills and playmaking abilities of our BY 2016 players. These Mites, who will be moving up to the Squirt division for the 2025 – 2026 season, displayed skills well beyond their years, allowing all there to enjoy this well attended game to the utmost. Here is a list of the players and their teams.

The All-League Team features the top performers of the season. Jayce Pappas (Central Penn), Dennis Kutz (Genesis Hockey Club), and Declan Pester (Delco Phantoms) led the forward group, with Pappas dominating with 75 points (45 goals, 30 assists). On defense, Gabriel Brown (Delaware Jr. Blue Hens) and Ryder Sementa (Genesis Hockey Club) stood out for their strong defensive play and offensive contributions. Between the pipes, Ezra Davis (Central Penn) earned All-League Goalie honors, boasting an impressive 1.26 GAA, 0.886 save percentage, and 14 wins, solidifying his role as a reliable presence in net.

The 1st Team All-Stars highlighted top players across all positions. Forwards David Norman Jr. (Delmarva Raptors), Logan Fraundorfer (Delaware Jr. Blue Hens), and Asher Free (Chester County Cougars) were key offensive forces. On defense, Rielyn Oreskovich (Phila. Michael Dalonzo (Quakers) earned 1st Team Goalie honors, finishing the season with a 3.96 GAA, 0.80 save percentage, and nine wins, solidifying himself as a key player in net.

The Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL) has officially announced its 2024-25 14UAA All-Star selections, recognizing the standout players who made the biggest impact throughout the season. The honorees, selected for All-League, 1st Team, and 2nd Team honors, showcased elite skill, leadership, and game-changing performances.

The All-League Team features the top performers from across the league. Riley Berger, Roman Tkach, and Lucas Grossman, all from Genesis Hockey Club, led the forwards. Berger tallied 39 points (25 goals, 14 assists), Tkach finished with 35 points, and Grossman added 25 points. On defense, Colton Dreyfus (Genesis Hockey Club) stood out with their two-way play, and Keegan Nephin (Central Penn Panthers) rounded out the All-League selections with a strong presence on the blue line and contributing 15 points. Between the pipes, Eric Curtis Jr. (Genesis Hockey Club) was named All-League Goalie, boasting a 0.928 save percentage and an incredible 0.90 GAA, proving to be a brick wall in net.

The 1st Team All-Stars consisted of highly skilled players. Forwards Drew Groft (Central Penn Panthers), Angelo Mirigliano (Central Penn Panthers), and Seamus Essl (Campus Wild) delivered impressive offensive performances. On defense, Brice Gantz (Central Penn Panthers) and Alexander Desantis (Genesis Hockey Club) were instrumental in shutting down opponents and contributing offensively. Liam Mulholland (Central Penn Panthers) earned 1st Team Goalie honors, posting a 0.917 save percentage and nine wins.

The 2nd Team All-Stars included players who made a strong impact this season. David Lavieri (Delaware Jr. Blue Hens), Patrick Lynch (Delco Phantoms), and Chase Mullarkey (Delaware Jr. Blue Hens) were key offensive contributors to their teams.
