🚨 OT THRILLER AT THE GREAT 8's SHOOTOUT! 🚨

What an incredible finish to an unforgettable event! The DVHL Great 8's Shootout delivered excitement from start to finish, and it all came down to OVERTIME.

🟢 Team Green: 3
⚫ Team Black: 2

In spectacular fashion, Team Green buried the overtime game-winner, sending the crowd into celebration and closing out the event with pure hockey excitement!

This showcase of the DVHL's top 2017 birth year players was the perfect way to cap off their 8U half-ice careers and launch them into the 10U full-ice hockey journey. The energy, the smiles, the teamwork, and the competition — everything that makes youth hockey special was on full display.

The future of DVHL hockey is incredibly bright.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, and clubs who made the Great 8's Shootout such a memorable experience!

This special event, authorized by the Atlantic District, gives our rising stars the chance to take the next step — transitioning from half-ice to full-ice play in a fun, competitive environment.
