DVHL INFORMATION
The Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL) was established in 1977 with the aim of fostering player development within the Atlantic District. Operating under the authority of USA Hockey, Inc., the DVHL is the only tier II sanctioned league in the Affiliate—and is dedicated to promoting organized youth ice hockey in the Delaware Valley.
The Leagues objectives include:
- Nurturing a cooperative spirit among its members, supporters, and teams.
- Boosting interest in the game of hockey.
- Providing oversight and support for the playing interests of its teams and players.
Currently, the league supports 20 clubs and more than 179 teams in three states. The Delaware Valley Hockey League has a long history of player development since being founded in 1977.
Mid Atlantic Hockey Alliance
The DVHL is also one of the founding members of the Mid Atlantic Hockey Alliance, along with the New Jersey Youth Hockey League (NJYHL) and MAWHA. The Alliance works together to provide competitive games and looks to enhance the player’s experience.
