Week 1 – Players of the Week

The 12U Player of the Week is Hershey Jr Bear Sebastian Springer.

Hershey played in their DVHL season opener at Hatfield Arena against The Genesis Hockey Club! Despite a short bench against Genesis, the Jr Bears played hard, securing a 3-1 victory! #74 Sebastian Springer played solid D and netted two goals, including the game-winner!

Other players of note that had fantastic weekends and deserving efforts as Honorable Mentions are: Grant Cohen (Genesis Hockey), Hadly Day (Wilmington Nighthawks), Kadin Massey (Philadelphia Little Flyers), Mason O’Connor (Wilkes Barre Jr Pens), and Serafina Serpentine (Philadelphia Little Flyers)

The 14U Player of the Week is Genesis Hockey’s Kobe Dunn.

Kobe led the way in Genesis’s win over Snider Hockey. Dunn had a four-point effort with three goals and an assist during Genesis’s first DVHL win of the season!

Other players of note who had fantastic weekends and deserving efforts as Honorable Mentions are Joe Taraba and Mia D’Innocenzo (both with the Campus Wild) and Simon Friedemann (Chester County Cougars).

The 16U Player of the Week is Central Penn Panthers Goalie Aiden Eiswerth.

In Central Penn’s first Mid Atlantic Hockey Alliance (MAHA) match-up, Aiden Eiswerth stopped 47 of 50 shots from the Union Thunder in a great battle. Ultimately, the Panthers dropped the decision 2:3, but Eiswerth played to a .940 save percentage.
