Genesis Hockey Club 14U AA — DVHL Playoff Champions

The 2024–25 season was a perfect campaign for the Genesis Hockey Club 14U AA team, culminating in a DVHL Championship and an undefeated record from start to finish. Genesis dominated the regular season with an unblemished 12–0–0 mark, outscoring opponents by a staggering margin while showcasing exceptional team play, depth, and discipline. Their balanced offensive attack and strong defensive effort led to multiple shutouts and decisive victories, including a 22–1 win over Delco Phantoms and a 14–0 result against Campus Wild.

Standout performances across the roster fueled Genesis’s dominant 14U AA regular season. Riley Berger led the offensive charge with 25 goals and 14 assists in just 10 games, totaling an incredible 39 points. Right behind him, Roman Tkach contributed 35 points, including 19 goals and 16 assists, while Colton Dreyfus added 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists. Lucas Grossman (25 points), Logan Cummins (23 points), and Ashton Reynolds (22 points) provided consistent scoring depth. On the blue line, Cole Kucera stood out with 8 goals and 9 assists, while Cole Detweiler and Alexander Desantis anchored the defense with solid two-way play. In net, Eric Curtis Jr. was outstanding, going 8–0 with a .928 save percentage and a 0.90 goals-against average, providing the backbone for Genesis’ perfect season.

In the playoffs, Genesis carried their momentum into the postseason with poise and determination. They opened with a 4–0 shutout win over the Central Penn Panthers and followed it up with a commanding 10–1 victory against Campus Wild. Facing Central Penn again in the semifinals, Genesis left no doubt with an 11–0 statement win. In the championship game, they defeated the Delaware Jr. Blue Hens 6–4 to secure the DVHL title and cap off an extraordinary season.
